I am an Assistant Professor at the Department of Astronomy and Space Science, Kyung Hee University. I am interested in the characterization of the matter cycle between gas and young stars, using high-resolution and multi-wavelength observations of nearby galaxies from PHANGS, including data from ALMA, HST, JWST, and MUSE.
I am also co-PI of MISTY (together with Dalya Baron and Viraj Manwadkar), a high-resolution survey of ionized gas emission in DESI dwarf galaxies using Magellan optical IFUs (LLAMAS and IFUM).
Before this, I was a Kavli Fellow at KIPAC/Stanford. I received my PhD from Heidelberg University (Germany) and my M.S. and B.S. from Yonsei University (South Korea).
